IT'S ALMOST FAIR TIME!!!
The 23rd Annual Taos County Fair will be held August 21-24, 1997, at the New Mexico National Guard Armory with Opening Ceremonies beginning at 10 AM.
Fun, food, contests, exhibits, concession stands, livestock showings and live entertainment are on the agenda. We hope you and your family, friends and guests will join us for this year's fair.
4H/FFA prgrams are strong and growing in Taos County. These programs offer our youth between the ages of 5 and 19 hands-on experience in leadership, livestock, gaardening, arts and crafts and more.
Our youth have been "Learning By Doing" and "Making the Best Better" since the first 4H club program was formed in 1918. You, too, can jon in the fun and win ribbons along with our dedicated 4H/FFA members.
Consult the Fair Book and Fair Calendar to determine the correct category for entering your project and the dates and times for entering. Contact the Taos County Extension Office at (505)758-3982 for more information.
