Outdoor education day camps during the summer, Introducing children to nature, science, different cultures and cooperative learning. Include raft- rafting, hiking, fishing and some overnight. One-day and weekend programs too. For all Taos County youth, ages 8-16. Approximately $100/week with scholarships available.

Taos Area Youth Alive Recreation

Campsites, hiking trails, and visitor center. Talk with Mark Lujan to arrange environmental education programs, nature or cultural hikes. Meet with biologists, archeologists and fire ecologists. Free.
