Be a Partner with Your Doctor
Here's what you can do to be a partner with your doctor:
- Visit your doctor every three or four months, even
if you feel fine.
- Have these important tests done:
- Talk to your doctor about any
problems you are having. If you don't understand, ask the doctor to explain.
- Bring a family member or friend to your doctor visits.
Remember,
besides your doctor, dietitians, nurses, and diabetes educators can help you with
your diet, exercise and medications.
