Take Good Care of Yourself
This is good diabetes self-care:
- Eat regular meals at about the same time each day.
Eat foods low in fat and high in fiber.
- Move your body every day. Exercise regularly and do
activities that your enjoy.
- Monitor your blood glucose levels as recommended by your doctor.
- Keep your feet clean. Wear comfortable shoes and socks. Check your feet every day
for cuts and sores. If you see a problem, call your doctor right away!
- See your doctor or other health care provider at least twice a year.
If you take insulin, see your doctor four times a year.
