Click the FreePPP icon on your menu bar (the one on the right that looks like a phone).
Select "Open FreePPP Setup...".
Select the "Accounts" tab.
Click the "New..." button
In the "Server name:" box, put "La Plaza"

If you will be dialing locally, leave the "Dial as long distance" and "Dial area code" boxes unchecked.
In the "Connect:" pull-down menu, choose "Directly".
Click "OK".
In the "User name:" box, put your La Plaza login ID
In the "Password:" box, put your La Plaza password.
NOTE: Leave these blank if you wish to be prompted for your login and password when you connect. Useful if more than one La Plaza user is using a single FreePPP account.
Click "OK".
Click the "General" tab
If you'd like for FreePPP to establish a connection automatically when you open an internet application (Netscape, Telnet, FTP, etc.), check the "Allow applications to open connection" checkbox.
"Modem Setup..." button: Click here to add a modem initialization string or change the port the modem is connected to. In most cases you don't need to change anything here. Refer to your modem documentation if you need to change the initialization string.
Connecting
Open an application that requires a TCP/IP connection - Netscape, Eudora, Telnet, Fetch, etc. If the "Allow applications to open connection" checkbox is checked (#18), FreePPP
will automatically dial and connect to your La Plaza PPP account.
Or
Choose "Open PPP connection" from the FreePPP menu bar icon.

icon (question mark icon second from right on menu bar) while in FreePPP Setup.
