Configuring MacTCP 2.0.6. and TCP/IP (Open Transport)

In order to use FreePPP, your Macintosh will need either MacTCP 2.0.6., or Open Transport installed and configured. If you plan on using Open Transport PPP (OT/PPP), Open Transport (TCP/IP) must be installed. To check which one you have, go to the Control Panels and look for TCP/IP (Open Transport), or MacTCP. If you are using a system previous to 7.5 you may need to install MacTCP or Open Transport. The La Plaza Installer includes MacTCP 2.0.6., but only if you choose to do a "Custom Install".

Note:
FreePPP or OT/PPP must be installed before you can configure TCP/IP or MacTCP.
OT/PPP is not compatible with MacTCP.
