The Taos Alliance for the Mentally Ill was organized to provide support, education and advocacy for families of people with serious mental illnesses. It is a member of the New Mexico Alliance for the Mentally Ill and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Taos AMI is a non-profit, volunteer organization. It is comprised of families and friends of people with serious mental illness.
