"The most important thing to me is being here in Taos and being part of the community. Also, family love and communication are equally important."

"The one thing I remember most about Taos or back when I was younger is that kids had more respect for their elders. Our Hispanic tradition was very strong. Parents used to take the time to teach their kids the morals and values needed. Nowadays with work parents don't take that time to be with their children. The old ways and the tradition are gone."

"I have the most fun when I am at church with my friends and family being a part of the Hispanic community.
