About the Authors

E.R. Bob Romero is a native Taoseño. He completed an M.A. degree in the Division of History, Government and Philosophy at Adams State College in 1977. Romero has taught on an adjunct basis at several colleges and universities in Colorado and New Mexico.

Neil Poese holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and an M.A. in the Humanities from San Francisco State University. A longtime resident of Taos, he was the director of Kit Carson Historic Museums, which include the Kit Carson Museum, the Ernest Blumenschein Home, and the Martinez Hacienda.
